Born in Tianjin, China, Mayland is an emerging artist, working in Europe.
She first received calligraphy lessons from her grandfather at the age of three.
Since her graduation from the University of Beijing,
she has lived and worked in Australia, Spain and Germany.
Her unique works combine her Western and Eastern backgrounds
and techniques originating in Asia, as well as Europe.
She considers nature, dreams and her passion for detail,
as the primary influences on her beautiful paintings.
